STATE SENATE 22 AND STATE HOUSE 45
Coverage of Election 2024 continues with races for two seats in the State Legislature representing many of the same neighborhoods in West Oʻahu including Waiʻanae and Mākaha. Neither seat has an incumbent. In Senate District 22, Republican Samantha DeCorte faces Democrat Cedric Gates. In House District 45, Democrat Desire Auguste DeSoto faces Republican Chris Muraoka.
