The University of Hawaiʻi is once again teaming up with leading esports organization Gen.G to send students on a three week study abroad practicum in Seoul, South Korea. Referred to as the mecca of esports, Korea is on the absolute cutting edge of everything going on in the esports industry. During the internship, students will immerse themselves in Gen.G’s daily operations by creating educational material and developing marketing strategies. Students will also spend time experiencing Korea with historical sites, food and everything Seoul has to offer. 2024 will be the university’s second cohort sent to Korea.
