This dance special features the dynamic Hunan Dance Company and Liping Yang, China's prima ballerina and choreographer, in a program that features native dancers from diverse areas of China.

The powerful and entertaining work blends numerous Chinese cultural traditions with contemporary choreography and music specially composed by China's premier classical and pop composer, San Bao.

Liping Yang is renowned for her performance of China's most traditional "peacock" dances, as well as for her daring and energetic contemporary choreography.
