TADASHI SATO is an art icon. A modern expressionist artist from Hawaii whose works are included in major art collections around the world, including the Guggenheim and Whitney Museums. But it was a pivotal period in New York City in the 1950's that changed everything for Sato. This is the story of a young talent at the tipping point of becoming a great artist.

  AQUARIUS is arguably Tadashi Sato's most famous work of art. 40 years after the 36-foot circular mosaic was installed in our state Capitol rotunda, a massive reinstallation of Aquarius was undertaken to repair significant age and weather damage. We meet the team of architects, artists, craftsmen and conservators who worked to restore this significant work of public art.
