50 Years of Mostly Mozart

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts’ Mostly Mozart Festival, one of the world’s major music festivals.

 

The program showcases the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra conducted by Louis Langrée in signature performances of the eponymous composer’s first and last symphonies: Symphonies No. 1 and No. 41 (“Jupiter”). In between, esteemed Mozartean Richard Goode joins the orchestra as soloist in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A major.
