In Miami Beach, Florida, host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Karen Keane scout for mid-century modern bargains at some of the city’s antiques and thrift shops. Highlights from the Roadshow floor include a rare 1960 re-release movie poster for the iconic biker film The Wild One, starring Marlon Brando; a George Ohr vase with a surprising secret; and a 1940s mobile by Alexander Calder – grabbing the number two spot in the list of all-time highest value Roadshow appraisals at $400,000 to $1,000,000!

 

Atlantic City, NJ, Part 3 of 3

Highlights from the Roadshow floor include a fanciful circa 1900 folk art sculpture; a 1934 New York Yankees team-signed baseball; and an early 20th-century landscape painting by George Bellows, one of America’s greatest artists, passed down in the Bellows family and valued at $150,000.
